Ribbon Cutting at FE Warren AFB
On July 21, 2022, Mill Creek joined the 90th Medical Group to celebrate the ribbon cutting, commemorating the completion of the clinic modernization at FE Warren Air Force Base! Renovations accommodate the latest technologies, evolving medical practices, staffing changes and mission growth.
This marks the completion of a 22-department renovation project, spanning 59,865 square feet. Departments included in the renovation were Family Health, Women’s Health, Allergy/Immunization, Pediatrics, Optometry Clinic, Radiology, Pharmacy, Dental Clinic, Command/MED Management, Laboratory, Medical Information Systems, BioEnvironmental Engineering, MCC, PFOMC/BOMC/PH/PRAP, Physical Therapy, Mental Health, Logistics/Facilities, TOPA/Records, Education, and RMO.
Some design features of the updated facilities include shorter travel distances, more seating, clearer wayfinding, improved patient privacy, and minimized noise. Along with the improved layout and systems, new state-of-the-art equipment has been installed throughout the facility.
The mechanical systems and plumbing were upgrade and optimized throughout the facility for improved reliability, convenient maintenance, reduced energy consumption, and minimize noise. Electrical and communications systems were also upgraded, improving efficiency and security.
Mill Creek’s Role
As a subcontractor to StructSure Projects, Mill Creek provided initial outfitting and transition planning services for the renovation, including project management, inventory, artwork & interior design, medical equipment planning, transition planning, move management, low voltage/communications system design, FFE-LVS installation, public relations/special events, billings, close-out and warranty.
